New K-Dramas are almost here!

The Olympics are drawing to a close this week, which can only mean one thing: a new crop of show-stopping Korean dramas are ready to be released! The following dramas all have their premieres next week, but which one are you looking forward to the most?

Arang and the Magistrate (아랑 사또전) is the enchanting, mysterious tale of a beautiful ghost in the Joseon Dynasty who appears to a young magistrate and helps him find her killer. Arang puts a magical twist on the suspenseful mysteries of past historical dramas, and is set to pull audiences in with a strong cast: the magistrate is played by Lee Jun Ki, who joins his first acting project after returning from military service, and Shin Min Ah, who is no stranger to the supernatural after her role in My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. This drama will premiere on Wednesday, August 15th, and is available to viewers in the Americas, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

FAITH (신의) is the highly-anticipated fusion sageuk (historical) drama that Lee Min Ho has chosen as his next project. With a budget exceeding $10 million, and the famous producers Kim Jong Hak and Song Ji Nah at the helm, this drama is will certainly bring something new to the recent trend of time-traveling warriors and doctors. Faith will premiere on Monday, August 13th and is available to viewers in the Americas (North, Central, South).

To the Beautiful You (아름다운 그대에게) is the Korean remake of the incredibly popular Japanese manga and drama, "Hana Kimi." For fans of the cross-dressing leading ladies in Coffee Prince and You're Beautiful, you can look forward to more hilariously awkward scenes as Sulli from f(x) enrolls in an all-boys high school. Dressed as a boy, she pursues her crush on a star athlete played by SHINee's Minho and tries to hide her true identity from the rest of the school, which is a cast filled with more idols and stars! This drama will premiere on Wednesday, August 15th and is available to viewers in the Americas.
