But what are the mystery prizes and what’s the tally countdown for?
We know you’re curious, and we’re excited to announce the new QC quarterly gifts as part of the 2019 QC Program!
The Viki volunteer community continues to go above and beyond, translating shows into over 200 languages and connecting international fans with the content they love. So here at Viki, we have been looking for ways to give back to our top contributors even more — and more often.
Please read on to learn more about the QC quarterly gifts and how you can win them all!
Every quarter (or every 3 months), the top 50 volunteers will receive prizes based on their positions on the Community Page’s Awesome Contributors leaderboard!
There will be a theme for each quarter, and the prizes will be broken down into large, medium, and small-sized gifts. Depending on your ranking, you can get all of the gifts!
Bonus prizes for the top 3 contributors
That’s not all! Every month, the top 3 volunteers with the most number of contributions will receive a special bonus item. That’s on top of all the other awesome prizes the top 50 contributors will be getting!
Here’s a quick breakdown:
*At the end of each month, the Top 3 users will qualify for the bonus gift. However, if you rank in the Top 3 more than once within a quarter (3-month period), you will not be eligible to win again until the following quarter. This will ensure that there will always be a total of 9 unique users who will receive the bonus prize within each quarter.

The first round of the QC quarterly gifts will be from April to June, 2019. Be sure to follow the Viki blog for quarterly gift reveals, as well as future QC Program announcements!
— I don’t want to appear on the leaderboard. Can I opt out?
Yes, before the program launches in April, we’ll be implementing a feature that will allow users to opt in or out of the leaderboard ranking. Please note that if you choose to opt out, you’ll also opt out of being eligible to win prizes.
— I really want some Viki Swag! Can I buy any of these items?
Currently, these prizes are reserved for volunteers that have been amazing in their efforts. But don’t worry, we’ll be announcing other ways through which users can earn this swag in the future, such as nominating your outstanding peers and being featured, or reaching goals in future contribution events.
— How do I sign up?
No need! As an active registered user, you will automatically qualify to obtain these rewards.
— I made enough contributions to win a prize this quarter! How do I receive my prize?
At the end of each quarter, our teams will verify all contributions and send out address request forms to the winners. Once we process this request, you should receive your gift in the mail shortly after!
